My basket from a dear friend

This is the handmade basket the 100 year old retired preacher made. I love it's rustic look and imperfections. It is made from oak strips. I treasure it and the memories it stirs up each time I look at it.

What an amazing keepsake!

This is a very lovely basket, but I wonder if it will be big enough for all your projects: you'll have to organize a rotation! lol...
Sadly, I have also lost pets that were very young, and I know how you feel about it. But, like you, I love thinking that they had a very good life -though it was short- filled with love and attention.
Take care!
