Sewing, crochet and a ride!

We went to our favorite nursery the other day and then took a drive at the conservation area on the way home.  Here is a smilebox if you would like to go along with us.

And I got an out and about apron made as I call it.  Took me a bit to figure out how I wanted to do it but I finally got it.  I will make some minor changes on the next one.
And I finished up my other prayer shawl.  I get a lot of my free patterns here:  Caron Yarn
This pattern is called Belize Wrap.
Here is a link for this afghan I have been working on.   Happy Yellow House  Lots of wonderful, free crochet patterns.  The one I am doing is her Ohio star quilt pattern.  Hope that helps you Beth!  ;-)

Thanks for visiting!  God bless and huggles.

Oh Michelle, Those patterns are amazing! The girlies talked me into entering a natural fibers contest. They've look knitted some nice entries. I decided on a pillow with needlework on the front.

I hate it. My eyesight is quite bad and crocheting with black wool makes me crazy. I can't see the stitches! I've pulled my stitches too tight and now it's 2" shorter than it was supposed to be gauged. Good thing that A. I entered the contest as a "beginner" and B. I chose a pillow instead of an afghan!!!!!!

You are as busy with your crafts as ever I see. It seems funny you admiring my stitching for a change.

As always your finishes are adorable. Are you Mennonite? I just wondered. I have a friend in Wisconsin who is Mennonite and many times I envy her simple life. Have a nice day Michelle. Blessed stitching.
