Sunshine at last!

Fun with a Sylvia pic!

emboss

I had a little fun with this picture I took of Sylvia,  different anyway!

Flowers!

Here is the hibiscus, flower bed next to the porch, the meadow sage and the baby tree I transplanted from the back to the front yard today as well as the zinnia.

Afghan news

Got another block done so I am a third of the way on the third row.  Hooray.  Today, Sylvia pilfered a piece of yarn then tried to escape with a couple of the squares!  Little stinker!

So that is it for our sunshiny day!  God bless and huggles!

Lots of things to share.

Crochet Progress

I have been a busy little beaver this week.  At least when I can keep Sylvia away from it!  LOL!

Terrible tornado in Joplin

Joplin was hit hard this evening by a tornado.  It gave us an hour and a half away very unusual sky color and clouds.

Silly Sylvia

Here is our girl at her silly best!

That’s it for me tonight.  Please pray for the people of Joplin as it was hard hit.  The hospital took a direct hit.  24 people are known to have been killed.  God bless and huggles.

Now for the stitchy stuff!

Jack is so very close to finishing his Last Supper Piece.  We have been pretty busy around here so not as much time to sew.  It is about to get a lot busier as we prepare to repair the bathroom.

Here is a little picture of my crochet.  I could go much faster but between being busy and help from a certain feline, it is not as fast as I would like!

So there is a little bit of a post for you.  Huggles and be blessed!

Fun day!

We had to travel to a larger town to get some of the remaining supplies for our bathroom. We stopped for a soda and saw this 1950's Dodge. Just a wee bit rusty!
Here are my squares thus far.  I have 15 more red and white and then it will be time to sew them all together and finish it up.  I like sewing granny squares together!
Saw this big tank being hauled on our outing today.
I had to get some aran color yarn to finish my squares and Jack bought me this skein of thread as well.  It is called Rustica and has just a bit of sparkle.  I got it on sale for 4 dollars and it has 920 yards so it will make a huge doily!
So that is my brief post for now.  Blessings and huggles.
