A Stitching we will go!

Here is the little turtle bib Jack is working on.  Colorful little rascal!

And here is my Bluebird Sampler.  I am having a blast with it!

I decided today was a good day to make a peach kuchen.  It came out really well!

Here is the simple recipe.

Peach Kuchen

Crust: 1 cup flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter.
Blend dry ingredients and cut in butter to resemble coarse crumbs. Pat lightly into 13 by 9 inch pan. Set aside

Filling: 1 29 oz. can of peaches drained, 2 eggs, 1 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, 1 cup sour cream. Beat sugar into eggs, add sour cream, and flour and whisk until smooth. Set aside. Arrange peaches on crust and then pour egg mixture over top. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes and then at 350 for about 20 minutes or until set.

Try other cooked fruits for a change.

Here is Miss Sylvia Joy relaxing in the living room.

And here she is on the window sill in our hobby room.  I will tell you she startled me when she popped up!
Thanks for coming to visit.  huggles and blessings.
