Stitching, snow and kitty too!

The "Come sit With Us" piece by Rosewood Manor is coming along well.  The spring quilt block is done and now onto summer.

I also started an afghan as well.  It is join as you go and I don't mind those at all.  I simply do not like sewing together a million squares at one time!

We were told it would snow Christmas day and it didn't and that we would have freezing rain last night and it didn't!  LOL!  But it DID snow today!  We really enjoyed watching it.

Sylvia is enjoying a little afghan time when I wasn't tucked under it.

Blessings and thanks for the visit.

Stitching and kittens

I have finished the little tulips on my quilt square and am now filling in with green.

Sylvia thought this was a good place to nap!  It is in our second bedroom, or den as we call it.  And it is still a mess!

Unhappy on the loveseat because mom got up!  Heaven forbid it!!!!!

Napping in the cat tree!  I found an old ornament and hung it from her perch!  LOL!
Merry Christmas to those who celebrate and blessings to those who do not and huggles to all!

Cross stitching again!

Just a refresher on what I was working on before the crochet snowflake blizzard!  I am nearly done with them so I am eager to beginning cross stitching again.

A sunset picture once again.  I love sunset pictures as much as moon pictures!
Well, short post but there you have it.  We are still trying to straighten up and put up and hang up around here after the move.  i remember when we were healthier and would have had it done in a few days!  Blessings and huggles!

All Moved!

Well, I am back with a few pictures.  We got our internet up on Friday but I have been ill and not up to posting.  I got sick just as we started moving and was really ill by Sunday but getting better every day now.

This is the sunset from the other night.  I surely do like seeing trees better than a building.

Had to have a little fun with Sylvia Joy.

Playing with the laser light.

Trying to nap!

Going crazy!

More silliness.

This is pretty much what we wake up to every morning and there were even a couple more not in the picture!

Thanks for visiting.  Blessings.

Offline for awhile

I thought I would share a couple pictures of the new flooring in our downstairs apartment.  I love it! Our upstairs apartment had ugly beige carpet and yellowish tile.  I love that the downstairs apartment has tile in the dining area and tile at the door.  We will finish up our part tomorrow despite the fact we are both under the weather.  Movers will do the furniture Monday morning and we will be offline at least until Friday..

Our manager Joni on the left and her boss Meridith.  they are such sweethearts!

Sylvia soaking up the sun as usual!

My friend Sara Hofer had told me she was sending me some crochet thread.  Little did I know it would be so much or that she would send some of her wonderful lip balm and soap.  Oh that soap is so heavenly and I love the lip balm as well.

Well dear friends I will see you soon!  Blessings and huggles.

Cross stitch finish! surprise!!!!

Well, I actually managed to finish this cross stitch piece!  I had run out of crochet thread for the snowflakes I am making so I figured I could cross stitch until I got out to get more.

Here is snowflake central in the midst of preparing to move this week.  We will be moving to a downstairs apartment with a few of trees and grass which will be nice.  And no more falling on the stairs for me!  We sign the lease Wednesday because they are installing new flooring for us.  We got a new management company and they are really fixing things and such a joy.

The moon from the other night.  My camera is not the best for moon pics but I love doing it regardless.

My sweet Sylvia napping on my shirt.  I always leave clothing for her to dream on.  Not spoiled is she?

Thank you so for visiting and an extra thanks to those sticking it out with me in my absence while I try to do the snowflakes.  By the time I am done I will have made around 200!
