Here I am again!

We have been busy trying to set up house.  It takes us longer as we have to rest often, and the night brings much pain but much more joy!  I have started to work on my Cardinals again.  I am determined to soon have them done!

Also, our anniversary was the sixth but we were, as you know, moving.  So we had some belated fun.  I thought I would share it with you.

We went to Hobby Lobby and splurged.  Jack found this model.  He knows I love chargers.  Yes, I am a muscle car kinda girl!

I found some items half off.  Love the laundry room sign and it now hangs next to the laundry room.

This is the little restaurant we ate at near Beaver Lake.  Good food!

My other half off treasure!  No picture, but I also got a ball of crochet thread.
Look at these big boats!  jack and I laughingly called them bathtub boats.
Miss Sylvia Joy missed her mom and dad that day!

Did you get to see the super moon Sunday evening?  My camera cooperated and I got some lovely shots.

Thanks for visiting!  Blessings and huggles.

Good to be back!

Well we are back online and have been for about a week.  We finally finished up the last of the move last Saturday.  We had to take a three day break because we were both in so much pain, moved one load and had to take another two day rest.  Two loads Saturday and we were done.  Wednesday and Thursday both we hauled two loads and by Thursday I was already feeling not so well.  I thought I had tied everything up really good but as I was approaching highway speeds, I saw the hutch to my china cupboard go sailing into the inside lane of traffic.  Jack wouldn't let me retrieve it and he went instead.  A wonderful man in a tractor trailer held traffic for him.  Thankfully no cars were hit or people hurt.  We were able to retie it and made it here with out any other trouble.  For going nearly 50 mile an hour the damage is minor and Jack can repair it.  Yet another reason I like buying older, used, solid wood when I can!

Sylvia is very happy in her new home!  The shrubs in front of the window makes her feel safe and secure!  Important for a shy kitty.
Oh and yes, I did get some done on my Cardinals!
I wanted to share a picture of a sweet little angel sent to me by a friend I met thru my blog.  It is made from a teatowel and pot holder!  She is such a cute thing!
And a final picture of our girl!
