A chilly fall week perfect fro stitching

It has been chilly and rainy here the last couple days.  Perfect for stitching.  Leaves are really changing too and we plan on going up Boston Mountain here in Arkansas to enjoy the scenery.  Here is the progress on my Sampler.

And here also is my Names of Jesus piece.

I am thinking of doing this celtic art piece next.

A little color outside our townhome.  It sure is nice to see!  I love fall!

Now for our Miss Sylvia fix.

Thanks for visiting.  Huggles and blessings!

The computer says...

That I may upload pictures.  So here I am to blog once again.  Some days the usb and the card reader on the front works, some days it doesn't.  So at times I may not blog for a few days longer than I want!
First up is the names of Jesus piece.

And today I have been going like crazy on My sampler.  I love the little red house.  I have pumpkins to do, more leaves and a few other things yet also.

Here are a bunch of pictures of our Sylvia.  Thought I would overload you this time!

Thanks for visiting.  Blessings and huggles.

Stitching thru the weekend

I have been trying to finish the sampler piece but sometimes need a break to work on the names of Jesus piece.  Here is the sampler.  It really has been and is a fun piece to stitch.

Tonight I am working mainly on the Names Of Jesus piece.  Trying to finish up the center bit of it.

Afraid there are no Sylvia pictures.  The one I did take came out blurry.  I am afraid my camera is getting pretty ornery now and again.  Thanks for visiting.  Huggles and blessings.

Stitching on a rainy Monday

Well after a morning of housework with my Jackster, I decided an afternoon of stitching and loving of the kitty was in order.  I am trying to finish up my sampler now after a few days of working on Names of Jesus.

Here is where I stand on Names of Jesus. I am using DMC's variations for the center .

Our neighbor Taylor turned a young 23 yesterday and his dad came over in this wonderful Chevy truck.

And now here is our girl!

Busy time of stitching.

Jack and I pulled everything out of tubs and boxes in the hobby room this week.  We threw away a lot, found some things to give away, repacked the tubs and cleaned.  As you can see it was a mess for a couple days.

I also finished Jack's afghan this week and that makes me happy.  I had told him I would have it done before it got cold and I made it!

I Don't think I ever shared a picture of my finished shawl either.  So here it is.

Sylvia entertained herself  in the hobby room while Jack and I were slaving away.  Silly cat!

Thanks for the visit.  Blessings and huggles.

Crazy kitties and cross stitch.

Been a good day today as we burned the note at church following fellowship, food and singing.  I really enjoyed it but I am wiped out now.  Got some stitching done to and I have started another Names of Jesus piece.  It will be done mostly in tealy/aqua kind of colors with a little blue green too.

Here is where I left off on my Sampler.  It is nearly done.

Some pictures from our Note Burning at church. The first is pastor Mike with the longest (65 years) surviving member of the church and the financial committee burning the note.

This is a picture of our short praise and worship after eating.

And lastly, here is Miss Sylvia torturing her favorite ball.

Thanks for the visit!  Huggles and blessings.

Small post I am afraid!

Well I have put Jack's afghan aside until I pick up a couple skeins of yarn and then I will be finishing it up.  Yarn being so expensive anymore I can't buy all I need at once so I buy as I need.  Works out well that way.!

I am planning another names of Jesus piece and nearly have it worked out.  I was asked if I charge for these pieces.  No, I don't.  I make and give them to Pastors and churches and once I have given one to another person.  She wanted to pay and I told her I would take a donation to continue these projects, whatever she felt led to do.

So onto my Sampler then from Jeremiah Junction.  I have finished the alphabet and am on to the bottom little scene.  I love the leaves and there coloration but let me tell you they are not so quick to do with around 9 colors in them!  LOL!

Thanks for visiting this short post!  Blessings and huggles.
