What a day!

The husband was in pain yesterday with his foot and today it was much worse.  Nothing new as this happens now and again.  So I did his chores and mine and soaked his foot in epson salt water bath which seems to have helped.  I then rewarded myself by working on a couple doilies.  The first is the beginning of an adorable little doily that will be about ten inches wide when finished.  It is an order for a friend.

And here is my pinwheel one.  I will be on it for some time since it has a total of over 75 rows.  But it is a blast!
And here is how the veil hangs on my head with the pleats in it.  I wore it to church yesterday and even though I later developed a migrane, it was not a problem at all.  I am working on another pattern now.
I leave you with our Sylvia Joy dreaming her favorite dream!
Huggles and blessings.

Michele, I pray Jack will be better tomorrow and that Sylvia will have a bite of tuna. I do live your work. I am working on a filet afghan in blue right now.

Your work is stunning! and your veil looks good. Best place for Sylvia, my two stay in all the time, they hate all this rain.

That coverings looks wonderful! Praying everyone gets better. Aw Sylvia. Izzy doesn't like the taste of tuna, though she goes nuts at the smell ??? She's a weird cat.

What is the cause of the pain..mine would get the gout which would cause his big toe to really hurt bad. He learned to have lots of dairy..that helped also he eventually got on medicine when the dairy stopped workinh

I hope your husband's foot is better soon. Your veil looks lovely. I have the same problem with brittle hair now I'm older and have to be very gentle with it when putting it up. I also love you patchwork dress; did you make it yourself? I am in awe of your doilies, such beautiful intricate work.

Hope Jack is feeling better. Pinwheel doilies are my favorite, and yours looks great. Sylvia looks lovely as always. Hoping your having better weather in your neck of the woods than the snow that we keep getting hit with.

poor Jack...I hope he is better today. The pinwheel doily looks hard to do...I envy your needle skills. Also the veil looks good....did you get the migraine from the bobby pins pulling your hair tight? Sylvia looks cute as ever and I believe her dreams are about playing with your yarn :)
