Hello again!

We had a lovely sunset Friday and again tonight.  First Friday nights.

And tonights.

I must be crazy with all the angels, pot holders, dishclothes and bracelets I have to do, but I started an afghan for a friend.  It is called a Bow Knot afghan.
And here is the girl taking a nap as usual!

A little of this and that

Well this is what kept me busy today.  Still more to stiffen up tomorrow.  I end up with glitter all over me but who cares!
In the hobby room is a shelf with some things that are special for me.  Some are presents from friends and the girl in the picture is my sweet niece by choice!
Coming home the other day we saw the geese down the road at the private park marching along!

And we can not forget that silly sylvia!  Trying to tell furby to quit talking.
Looking out the window,
Sleepily begging for treats.
Loving mom's shirt.
And just being Sylvia!

Hello!

Well, I finished up a rush order of 4 dish clothes and two potholders and got those mailed out Friday.  And I have four angels to finish up to mail out soon.  After that onto and order of 16 pot holders!  yeah, I think that will keep me out of trouble.  My carpal tunnel is acting up in my left hand so I am taking the weekend off and stitching and beading on the fairy.
I didn't want to wait to have the funds to buy the mill hill beads so I found some of the colors in my bead stash and bought the rest at Hobby Lobby.  It will make my project different from all the others folks have done, and I like to do that sometimes!  Here she is.
Now time for the Sylvia show and her afternoon Sunday nap!

Digging My Way Out!

I am thoroughly, and happily buried under crochet for others!  I have 9 angels to do yet for one order, just finished up and order today to go out Friday consisting of 4 dish clothes and two pot holders.  Then there are 16 pot holders for a Christmas order.   But I have crawled out long enough to visit.
I did have some time this weekend to cross stitch a bit on the fairy.

And Jack wanted to share the progress on his wolf.  It is slow going as it is pretty involved and then he sometimes must quit to lie down to ease the pain in his legs.
Well, we had quite a storm this afternoon.  It didn't last long but what a lot of noise and rain!  Some towns around had downed trees and power outtages.

And now here is our Sylvia maxing out last night and hiding from the storms today.

Now to bury myself in my stitching again!  Huggles and blessings and thanks for visiting!

Fairies and angels and such

I have finished up all the potholders for my order and I think they turned out pretty too!  What do you think?
And three of the fifteen angels are also done.  I have decided to take a break from the angels for a bit.
Here is my progress on my fairy.  I am getting close do doing the beading and the specialty thread.  I can't wait to see it done.
Our silly girl was keeping us entertained the other night playing with her toy.

And playing peek a boo!
And, well, just being Sylvia!

Thanks for the visit!  Huggles and blessings.

Miss me?

It has been a bit hectic around here the last few days so I missed my last posting day.  But I am back!  I have made progress on my Midsummer Night Fairy but she is put aside for now.
Here is the reason the fairy is put aside.  I have an order for 8 hotpads and 15 beaded angels.  That will be a very nice change of pace and I love to make them.
Jack loves to wind yarn into balls when it is getting about used up to keep it from tangling.  Look at the surprise he found in one this weekend!  Not one of mine and Jack says it was in an area where there is a splice.
The moon was lovely last night and looking forward to tonights as well.  I can never get enough of the moon!

Oh and we must not forget Sylvia!  Here she is all perturbed at mom for not bringing on the cookies fast enough!

Stitchy, stitchy!

Hello!  First I want to share a picture of a very old doily.  I can not even remember who made it but it does have some holes and to me is still lovely.  This is what is known as Irish crochet.
I have been working away on my Rose Garland Runner.  I am past the halfway mark and on the downhill side of it.  Just a little over 40 rows to go!
I found a project from 12006 that I had forgotten about.  Jack and I were going thru finished things to decide what we want to frame.  I need to get the beads for her but I can finish up the cross stitch,
Here is Jack and Sylvia.  Poor Jack is just trying to roll up a ball of yarn!  LOL!
