Visits, blessings and storms

Yes it was a mixed bag this week.  First the crochet.  I have all 144 of the yellow centers done and now I am working on the white.  Sure looks like a lot to do in the bag!
Wednesday some friends came over with their newest sweet little baby and her big sister.
Abigail sitting with daddy!
Jack looks so pleased to be holding little Jamina!
Our dear friends also brought a blessing of yarn for us.  I gave this to Jack.
And this was divided between myself and another person.
Here is the poor hobby room.  It is a sad mess!

However, a four cube and an eight cube shelf will certainly help! There is hope for that room yet.
I also found the time to make fridge pickles for Jack.  It really is easy.  Just peel and slice an onion and place in the bottom of a 2 quart jar and then peel and slice about 4-6 cucumbers and place on top.  Now mix together seperately a teaspoon of celery seed, 1 cup stevia or sugar, and one cup cider vinegar.  Stir until the stevia or sugar is dissolved and pour into the jar.  Top off the jar with water and tip upside down a few times to mix with the vinegar solution.  Can be eaten in a few hours but is better after 2 or 3 days and will last a long time without spoiling.
We had some nasty storms Thursday night and a tornado in Gentry about 30 miles from us.  Here are some interesting clouds.

But we were blessed with a pretty sunset.
Here is our Sylvia girl!

Thanks for visiting.  Huggles and blessings.

Wow that is a hefty supply of yarn and thread! Looks like someone was clearing out their stash. Looks like a wonderful time for all. :D

Except for the storms, they can just keep on moving away.

How lovely to get all that yarn! Love seeing your beautiful crochet. Glad you had a visit from friends. Lovely little ones! Sylvia -- such a cutie! Glad those storms bypassed you!

Your pickels look good, I just may have to try those!
