Bedspread finish!

At last the bedspread is finished.  I almost felt a bit lost after it was done! Next year I want to do a tablecloth for a big project.

I am working on my grape doily since my purple thread arrived today.  The camera is being very feisty so no picture. We had some lovely clouds the other day.
I am also now working on another vintage doily.  It is enjoyable but the elongated stitches about drove me batty!
Here is little Miss sylvia washing the acreage as we call it.
Anyone for a kitty nose boop?
Unfortunately, Sylvia Joy became very ill Tuesday night into Wednesday.  She was so cold and her breathing so shallow I was very scared we might lose her and she threw up so much she had nothing left in her.  We kept her warm on her little bed in the bedroom and gave her sugar water. She seemed a bit better Wednesday night but had one more bout of throwing up.  By thursday, I was giving her little bites of food.
Here she is feeling a bit better Thursday morning napping in the sun.

By Last night she was again up on the back of the sofa.  She still has a ways to go and is still mainly eating little bits and sleeping.  We believe she ate something that made her ill/
I was nervous needless to say while she was so sick so I rearranged things and made room for our little computer desk.
Hung this little picture above it.
So thanks for visiting.  Huggles and blessings.  See you next week!

I hope Sylvia is much better today, I hate it when one of our cats are poorly. Love your bedspread and totally understand missing the joy of working on it once it is finished.

Your bedspread is so pretty....and the colors are so nice against the black. It is inspiring that you made that AND finished it! I admire your ability and talents! So sorry to hear about your Sylvia Joy's illness....that is awlful. Our Violet has been eating at the houseplants. None are on the toxic list but you never know. I'd hate to lose her for any reason. I hope your kitty soon is playing around and gets her energy back. Nice pc desk and doilies always get my attention. I am forever (it seems) picking them up to put in my wicker collection box. Happy Thanksgiving to y ou and your hubby and to your sweet cat.

Gosh, I hope Sylvia is back to normal now. How scary is that! The other day, Mia started throwing up, but it only lasted a little while. Nothing like this! Poor Sylvia! I love your finished bedspread. So so gorgeous! Isn't it funny how you feel lost after finishing a big project like that? Love your doily too!

Sunshine can be a great healer for animals. It always seems to make me feel a bit better to sit outside in the sun when I feel bad. Saying a prayer for your sweet Sylvia with her sweet little toes! Poor baby. Please keep us updated on her healing.
I love your bedspread, and I see so many, many hours of work there. Treasure it. ~Pam in Louisiana~
