The Weeks Doings!

I finished a test run on a top I want to crochet. it is actually a beach cover up that was a lot longer than I wanted. I wanted to see how much yardage it would use in the shorter version I wanted. I know now I also want to make a change to the front neckline. Other than that, I am satisfied with it.
I also am working on another cape in black for a friend. The same friend I made the blue one for.
And I am having some fun with some snowmen for another friend.
I am nearly finished sanding this end table and about ready to restain it. It is from the 1950's and is called a dough box sewing end table.
Can you believe I actually did a little cross stitch too? And I do mean a little. Ha, ha! Just some on the basket.

Now for a picture of some horses that live across from the neighborhood Wal mart we use. We enjoy seeing them and some goats down the road from them.
And lastly, Sylvia Joy says hello!

My parents have that very same dough box.. They got theirs in the 50s and still have it.
My mom cross stitched and crocheted and she always kept her projects in the dough box.
At least I think yours is the same as theirs, is yours Ethan Allen and does it have a magazine holder on the front?

Busy as usual, aren't you? I'm always amazed at what you get done. That table is going to be nice. Are you going to put your current projects in it?

Kitty is adorable as usual.

Be blessed!
