A Little Doily Doings

I have been entertaining my self with painting a little side table. Nearly done save another coat here and there and the inside of it.
I also started a couple doilies. This one is in a color called eggnog and will be square with a pineapple pattern.
And I am about to finish up this one. I am doing the last border row. The flower with leaves in the valley gave me some fits understanding how to do it. I think I got it now!

And who doesn't need a little Sylvia sillies?

Light At The End of The Tunnel!

All the snowmen and santa faces orders are done. Hooray! I love doing for folks but I am ready to tackle my projects and I will be making afghans for a friend. I found a lovely color of crochet thread for two dollars at Hobby Lobby and am sneaking in a little crocheting with it as I work on the last few angels for another friend.

We took a ride Monday and took some pictures of some nice trees. The wind this week pretty much stripped them bare. Also parked at a grange building across from a lovely little cemetery.

Did you see the super moon this past week? I managed a picture on the second day.
And lastly, Miss Sylvia Joy taking her nap yesterday.

What Am I Up Too?

So today is a good day! I finished up the three dozen snowmen and have four snowmen to go on the two dozen.

Now onto what Jack has been up too! Still working on quilt squares.
And now Sylvia time. Here she is after a session of yarn wars.
And plenty of time for maxing out and napping!

Just A Short Post!

I am getting very close to finishing the large order of 3 dozen snowmen. 3 more bodies to crochet then 18 to do faces and hats and scarves. Then a couple small orders to finish. I have had about enough of that for awhile! LOL! I am also doing angels for a friend and hearts for another.

While doing our grocery shopping, I saw this interesting cotton yarn on the cheap. I was very curious to see what it would look like worked up so I brought it home! I rather think it is interesting and it will be a trivet for hot things in the kitchen.
I also found these cute cups on the cheap and had to have them!
Also this past week we found this curbside for trash pick up. It was a mirror but will be freshened up and a large cross stitch piece will go there.
We had a lovely moon with one of the planets this past week. This month's full moon will be a super moon!
And a lovely sunset as well.
Here now is Sylvia. She was upset I was not paying enough attention to her, so she threw herself down on the rug!
Then here she is just being her usual self!
