Crochet Amid Moving Preps, Storms and Flooding

I put away all my crochet things save for Jack's blanket. It is in it's own bag so easy to tuck away.
We should be moving in the fourth. They are resurfacing our countertops, putting in all new flooring and painting. We are looking forward to getting in and getting settled again. It was also a very stormy weekend and we had about nine inches of rain after 5 inches of rain last weekend. We live on the southside of a hill here and this side is gently sloped. However the other side is steeper and has railroad tracks and a creek over there. Lots of damage as you can see. For a time, there was no way in or out of our area.

Below is on the west side of our area.

Sylvia Joy napping today. She did not get much sleep with all the storms.

Thanks for visiting. Huggles and blessings.

Hope the move goes well, and the weather is kind to you. I talked on the phone to my daughter today (she lives near Dallas, Texas) as I had heard on the news there were tornadoes in the state, but all is well where she is.

Jack's blanket is really nice! xx

I would love a rain storm, along the south coast of England is one of the driest places to live. April has been really dry for us.
