Crochet and cross stitch!

Hello again friends! I managed some crocheting and cross stitch this week. Here is the cross stitch progress. I love doing the Joyful Expressions pattern Names Of Jesus piece. I can never do it to much!
Lots of progress also on the shawl as you can see.
Jack insisted on getting me this yarn as it was on sale and I gave in! LOL! It is Yarn Bee in a color combo called green Tea Swirl. It will become and afghan and I have some other fallish colors picked out to go with it.
Other than finishing up the large order of angels and snow flakes, that is about it for this week on stitching. Let me share a beautiful moth with you. It is called a polyphemus moth and this one is a male about four inches wingtip to wingtip.
Now we will finish up with silly Sylvia! Also a beautiful cloud!

Fun week!

Hello again, late as usual! Not to much crochet to show but here it is. The angel factory is still going. I am neraly done and only have two dozen to go,
I tore up the afghan and am making a shawl with it instead. This feels like the right thing this time.
Also made another test square. Jack likes the way the red and blue striping yarn did so there it is!
This week they power washed and painted all the porches and balconies. It looks really nice and fresh.

I also took time to make some cheesecake pudding with some cherries I steamed on top and pecan and graham cracker crumbs.
We visited down at our neighbor Trudy's and also got to visit with Colby the corgi and his mom. Colby has a foot thing!
And can not forget Sylvia being Sylvia!

Busy, busy!

A bit of a busy week so not a lot to share but I do have a few fun things. I meant to post earlier this weekend but Blogger was being mean! LOL! I have made progress on the cross stitch piece. The only crafty thing I have to show you!
We went to petco Thursday and this little fella really took a shine to me!
Got a picture as well of our cell phone tower down the road! They tried to make it look like a pine tree. Cracks me up!
And now on to Sylvia Joy pics. Nurse Mugs as we call her. She laid against my head when I had to have a lie down for a migrane this week.
And of course, just being Sylvia!

Thanks for visiting this short post! Huggles and blessings.
