Sorry I Was Gone So Long!

Well, at last here I am! Feeling much better mostly, but feel like I have a sinus infection. But enough about that! A lot has happened since last we met.  We had our first snowfall!

Got some lovely presents from dear friends in Pennsylvania. We exchange gifts every year.

On Christmas day, my beloved Jack and I were Chrismated into the Orthodox church! Chrismated basically means we read aloud to the church the Creed and Father John anointed us with holy water and oil. The couple standing next to us are our "sponsors". They will be lifelong friends to pray with us and walk with us on this journey called life! Afterwards most of us at church stayed to have Christmas potluck together and enjoy one anothers company. We always have fellowship after church on Sunday's.
We had ice on the streets and the pond this last Sunday. It was sure pretty on the pond!
A cardinal showed up to say hello!
Did you get to see the super moon the first? It sure was lovely and happened on the only clear night we have had in awhile.

Now here is Sylvia being Sylvia!

Thanks for visiting. Huggles and blessings!

Welcome back, I was getting worried. The awful virus turned into a sinus infection in me too. See a dr as you'll need an antibiotic. Drink lots of clear liquids and get plenty of rest. God bless you all!

Hey, I'm glad you are feeling better! Sylvia is so cute, especially in that last picture! Everything surely looks like a winter wonderland where you live. Stay warm! Congrats! on the church membership; looks like a group of good family and friends. And yes, that moon has been incredible.... I've enjoying watching it the past few nights! Happy New Year!

It's so good to see you posting again! Glad you two are feeling.I have a feeling the snow is going to bypass us this year. I don't think even Flagstaff got any snow yet.
Well have a lovely day.

Yuck on the sinus infection; hope it goes away quickly.

We had our first snow too, just in time for Christmas! And it's STILL out there, even though it was only 2"! This cold weather is silly.

I misread your post at first as you were "Christmas-ed" and was quite confused haha. Potluck fellowships are always the best.
