A little stitching

I am so close to being done with this one. Just a bit more on her dress including some more metallic floss and then time to do the beads! been a fun stitch but I am ready to move on!

Poor Jack is slaving away on the last corner in the living room. Been a frustrating thing as well. He spent a lot of time repairing and preping the wall for paint and then when it was painted you could just hear popping noises and the paint developed blisters all over.  We had to peel and scrape all the new AND the old paint off and start all over again.  It is finished now.  just a timy bit of baseboard for me to paint and a small bit of wall to paint above the windows.  Then on to the bedroom to tackle that painted over wall paper border!

So that is our week! Thanks for visiting! God bless and huggles.

Hi Michelle,
I'm over from Hearts in One Accord and wanted to 'meet' you.
Looking forward to some more reading of your blog.
That is a beautiful piece of needle work!
God bless.

Oh Michelle, the angel is lovely!!!!

Bummer about the wall. We've had that bubbling issue before when painting. VERY frustrating!! It usually means there's a competing chemical in the primer and the paint...

Gorgeous stitching. Nice butt. Seriously, a man who paints is a nice man. :)

It's been so much fun seeing how you've progressed on your angel stitching project and as I knew it would be, it's gorgeous!!

Poor Jack, I do hope he has no more problems with that corner. I need to paint the living room and my bedroom but putting it off until I can open the windows and doors...too cold right now to do that:-) xoxo
