Happy weekend!

Not a lot to share as once again I am ill. This time shingles on my head an an infection in front of my ear up into my head. I tell you some days one wants to hide! However I managed to finish up a shawl after deciding I did not want a border on it.
Also managed a little work on the cross tabletopper as well. I am now making hats and scarves for the snowmen too.

And taking care of mom.
Sorry for another short post. Thanks for visiting. Huggles and blessings.

Hello! A little to share with you!

I was going to post Friday but I am sick yet again! Round number three! Jack is just getting over his third round. Missed church today too as I do not want to share this but onto the fun stuff! Last weekend on the Sunday ME day, I played with my loom. Making a cover for my kindle.

This Sunday for my ME day I am working on a shawl.
The angels are finished and will be mailed out this week. Now I am working on a tablecover for another friend. It will be around 36 inches in diameter. I have two more to make for others and one for me.
That is about all I have managed. Here is Sylvia having a case of the sillies this last week.
And the cold weather today called for a nap!
Thanks for visiting. huggles and blessings.

Sorry I Was Gone So Long!

Well, at last here I am! Feeling much better mostly, but feel like I have a sinus infection. But enough about that! A lot has happened since last we met.  We had our first snowfall!

Got some lovely presents from dear friends in Pennsylvania. We exchange gifts every year.

On Christmas day, my beloved Jack and I were Chrismated into the Orthodox church! Chrismated basically means we read aloud to the church the Creed and Father John anointed us with holy water and oil. The couple standing next to us are our "sponsors". They will be lifelong friends to pray with us and walk with us on this journey called life! Afterwards most of us at church stayed to have Christmas potluck together and enjoy one anothers company. We always have fellowship after church on Sunday's.
We had ice on the streets and the pond this last Sunday. It was sure pretty on the pond!
A cardinal showed up to say hello!
Did you get to see the super moon the first? It sure was lovely and happened on the only clear night we have had in awhile.

Now here is Sylvia being Sylvia!
