Be back next week

The husband has been down for the count with his foot and knee.  I have not had time to get around to making a post.  I will be back Monday with one as he is a bit better.

This and that!

Been awhile I know but I have lots to share with you.  First I have been sewing on a top.  Nearly done with it.  It is a top that goes over another shirt.
And I have been buried under the bedspread.  The top is done and now I am working the sides.
I have had some wonderful help with this.  Don't you agree?

I also have some progress on the Rosewood Manor piece.

I also found a couple treasures at Hobby lobby last week. Hung the little sign over Sylvia's bed in the bedroom.  The other piece is in the kitchen.  Love the look on the little shepherd boy's face! The rest are my salt and pepper shakers he is sitting with.

We also visited the animal shelter. This little stink pot was so full of himslef nibbling my arm like an ear of corn.  Just before I took the picture, he chomped Jack's neck!
We have been treated to a lovely bright maple across the way and some stunning sunsets this week.

Lastly, some happies arrived yesterday.  I knew the pie plate was coming from a dear friend, but she also surprised me with the adorable kitty plate too.  Another friend surprised us with these cute little raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.

Thanks for visiting.  huggles and blessings.

Up to Mt Sequoia

Jack and I picked a nice cool day Friday to go up on the Mountain. It was quite enjoyable.  Here are a few pictures for you. Lovely view looking west over Fayetteville.
 Lots of trees turning.

This tree seems to be wearing a jacket!  They had torn down the shell of an old home.  I suppose they did this to protect the tree.
Some more pictures of the view.  The twin towers if I am not wrong are on the campus of the University of Arkansas.

An adorable little college we pass going up.
A few more pictures.  Yes you can come have a retreat here.

Jack and I are pleased you came along with us!
Huggles and blessings.

Just keeping busy!

I am on the last snood of four orders so I have been doing a bit of my own thing before finishing up the last few rows of my final one.  Started playing with a scarf pattern
Am down to 9 rows to finish the top of my bedspread.

And I am working on the last ten of 78 rows  of my pinwheel doily. It is slow going as it is mostly single crochet which is tiny stitches and there fore is why it is 78 rows!
The moon was very lovely last evening. Did you see it? Oh that is a bad picture!
Enjoyed sugar free no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies and sugar free chocolate milk yesterday with my Jack.  We used our favorite cups too!
Now is the time for Sylvia sillies!

Thanks for visiting.  Huggles and blessings.

Happy Saturday

I have been stitching and that is about all I have to show you.  Otherwise I am just doing snoods to fill orders.  So here is the Rosewood Manor piece.

So now I guess it's a good time to share some sylvia silliness.  She has been full of herself of late!

So thanks for visiting!  Huggles and blessings.
