Shame on me that I have not done this for some time.  But here I go again.  I made this one when Jack and I celebrated our 30 year anniversary the 6th of this month.

"Peace Be Still"

When sounds the world's threatening cry,

And roaring of their thunder.

When you feel the heaving of your life,

And see the foaming water.


Then from the midst of this swelling sea,

A voice so calm and clear.

Twas, "Peace be still," that reached my ear,

Calmed my heart, and allayed my fear.


Oh, words of a Savior that gave me Peace,

Though the world round me roar.

Safe in Him, my peace complete,

There for evermore.

Once again I had to do something different. Jack and I had seen an interview of this father and son. He did not want his son left out of life and they do a lot of things together. Yes! At last I am back with Word-filled Wednesday. This one really called out to me especially after my cousins message at church last Sunday. He was talking about passing the test to go on to our heavenly reward. If we will just listen to the Holy Spirit the way is easy to see. Have a blessed Easter and remember that Jesus died for our sins and wrongs so that we don't have to. We can have eternal life and hope through Him by accepting the free gift of salvation. That is what Easter is all about and not the candy and easter egg hunts.

I just had to use this picture with this scripture! Being cheerful and laughing is a very good thing. It can ease a hurt, lighten a mood and bring plenty of joy! I do believe God intended for us to laugh and enjoy life.
