Jack update

On Sunday morning the 12th of this month, my Jack slipped in to eternity. I held his hand all night, told him it was okay to leave, and that I loved him. At around six, Bozz woke me up and I heard a little sigh from Jack. It was finished, his suffering was over. Throughout it all, Bozz guarded Jack and stayed close to him. I read psalms to Jack and prayed.

A dear church friend stayed with me Saturday until Monday and helped me with the funeral arrangements. He is buried on their property. I am so thankful for Father Michael and Matuska Barbara for coming Sunday so Father could do last rites.  As well as my brother who spent Tuesday night with me. We had Jack's funeral at the church Wednesday the 15th.

I am mostly doing okay but finances are a struggle until insurance and Jack's social security is transferred to me. People are doing their best to help. I received a lovely care package. Also flowers and plants. The rose spray was taken to church for the casket.

I am crocheting and I will try to post things I am doing next week. Thanks for visiting. Blessings and huggles.

So sorry for the loss of your dear husband. You are in my prayers and I hope that the finances get straightened out soon. Try to look for a bright spot in each day.
