Here is Mr. Cock-A-Doodle-Doo! I have not been cross stitching much until I get my new glasses this Friday. Maybe then I can see better to sew.
I caught Sylvia Joy looking at herself in the glass of this picture today. She does it also with the glass in the dryer door and the glass of the bookcase. Funny girl!
Here she was enjoying some sun today on a chilly day. We have been cloudy a lot lately and even had a close brush with a tornado Wednesday.
And a little progress on the wolf. Not much and it is a boring sheet with only two colors for the whole page! If you ever want the pattern you can find it here -> Cross Stitch
So that will be it for me today. We are working away on our bedroom and will soon be done with it and I will share pictures. I am mighty tired of camping out in the living room!

My mom, roosters, kitties and fun!
We had to pull out and redo the door when a problem developed. The door had racked. come to find out, the wood below it had rotted. See the area just above the blue rug? That was the problem spot. Here Jack has a new piece going in.
Saw this cute display yesterday whilst in Nevada MO.
This little kitten was hiding beneath the shed. He is sick poor thing so we will try to trap him so he can be cared for.
This is my mom. She was born November 18, 1934 in Cedar Springs, Mo not to far east of where we live. She died March 26, 1969 a couple days after giving birth to a stillborn son. I was only 9 at the time. I thought you would like to meet her.
Here is my rooster. I decided he needed a head so he at least looked like a rooster! LOL!
And here is Jack working away Monday on the door. It took lots longer than we planned and Jack is still hurting from it. I am not hurting anymore but I sure am glad it's done!
So there is my little post for you. I enjoyed the visit. Be blessed and huggles.

Stitching and kitties oh my!
Okay and even more than kitties and stitching! First I would like to introduce you to Missy. She is about a year old and has been in foster care since June. She has a wonderful personality they tell me and is happy and sweet. Hopefully, when we meet her on Thursday, she will come home with us. So whisper a little prayer if you would.
I keep asking Jack if this looks like a rooster yet and he says "no". Imagine that! LOL!
When we were in Nevada Mo the other day, May's floral had this in their window. Looks like Jack and I don't you think? Minus the beard on the guy! LOL!
Jack is responsible for picking out this food bowl for our new kitty. I like it though.
Met this sweet little guy in Nevada. He gave me kisses and his tail was wagging to beat the band!
This WAS our maple tree last week. Now with all the wind we have had and chilly temps, it is nearly bare.
Some trees over in Nevada. Very pretty. Many trees around here have dropped their leaves but there are still plenty of pretty ones around.
Kitty toys! I just thought they looked neat all piled up!
So thanks for visiting with me today. I hope you are blessed today and always. huggles.

It's a beautiful day in the Ozarks!
I was helping Jack make a pumpkin cake I got from my dear friend Pam.
As you can see, we had a ladybug on the ceiling watching us. We have been trying to catch her and remove her from the house since last night. Oh well, it is that time of year.
I started another project. It is from the book "fowl Play" that Jack bought me awhile back knowing how I loved Roosters and chickens. He is an English Game Bird. I love the title of that book too! LOL!
Jack is now working on the second half of his "Last Supper" To see it in person does it much more justice.
Nothing to get excited about on my wolf. Just black, black and did I say, black? LOL!
Yesterday, Jack took time out of his outside chores too put in new outlets and a new switch in our bedroom before I started painting. Now I don't know about you, but that so called "almond" color they have for switches and outlets is ugly! I like the nice, crisp, clean white. Plus our house has brown, black and the almond colors. What a mess! We also put the "rocker" style switches that look nicer and our easier for those of us to use who have weak hands. I finished all the painting in our room save for the west windows which need more work before being painted. Then all that is left is wallpaper border and staining the floor and installing shelves.
News on a dog. There will not be another dog in our household BUT there will be a cat in 2 or 3 months. We will be adopting most likely from Clinton animal Shelter
So there you have all the doings at the Sew "N Sews. God bless and keep you and huggles as always.

Long time no post!
I have been under the weather for a couple weeks. I do feel a lot better but still some issues. Now Jack is under the weather a little. Then this week we had to go out of town to see our Doctor. The next couple pictures are just before we cross a section of Stockton Lake. The colors were beautiful!
This was the trees I had to look at outside our motel window. So pretty!
And this is the interesting shawl I am making with the swirl motifs. I added one more motif then they called for to make it longer. I do not like short shawls thank you very much!
So that is about all I have to share for this post. I promise not to take so long before the next one. Be blessed all! Huggles.
