Friday Doings

I mailed out lots of packages of finished things today and now I am doing a few things for me before I start on a present of butterfly bookmarks and a couple  angels for a relative of Jack's.  I am working on an oval crochet doily for the top of the bookcase.  I like an unusual pattern now and again.  Here is a picture of what it will look like and below is my progress in Peacock blue.
And I am cross stitching a free piece called Rose Sampler I got Here  I just began it tonight using a house brand of floss from Hobby Lobby.  I think it looks a bit like watercolor.
And here is quite a find for us.  Jack is sitting in an office chair we got for 15 dollars at a thrift store run by a church.
And now our Sylvia Joy girl!

Have a blessed Easter weekend!  Huggles.

I love thrift stores because you never know what you might find. Sylvia is lovely as ever and the doily is certainly unique. Hope you Jack and Sylvia had a blessed Easter day.
