Cross stich and crochet. Picture Heavy

Well, I am nearly done with Jack's vest.  He asked for it to be oversized some for wearing a heavy shirt under so it is.  And he wanted the navy edged in off white.
I also am making progress on my doily.  It is still slow going though.

I wanted also to show some older pieces that we have both done.  Jack does stamped cross stich as many of you know.  Here are two of his wall quilts.

And one of my favorite with the cute bunny couple.
And a couple of my old pieces.  The quilt one was done in 1992 and the other in the 1980's.

Hope you enjoyed that.  Now for the Sylvia fun.  She and I had a little play time this afternoon.
After that, she needed a nap!  Make that many naps!
Thanks for visiting.  Huggles and blessings.

Love the Seasons wall quilt and the beautiful cat crewel (I think it's crewel?)! They're both wonderful. :D

Your sewing projects are so inspiring! I recently brought down a stack of old Workbasket magazines and have enjoyed going through them for the umpteenth time. I always find something new I want to make. Last year I made about 100 warm hats for the homeless and a few years back I made baby blankets for the Pregnancy center here. I recently made a cute crochet owl got my great granddaughter and am making a dog for another one. Love keeping my hnads busy and out of the cookie jar. :)

I hope all is well with you. It has been a long time since I blogged, but am trying to get back to it as I miss my blog friends. Blessings
