Stitching, a gift and Katie

Here is Jack's quilt squares done in pink. I think it just may be my favorite of the three.
I am back to working on my Ruth project. I am hoping a change in stitching will get me motivated to cross stitch more. I am working down along the bottom.
Here is little Miss Katie-Bug today sitting oh so pretty.
And now my best part. First I need to apologize to my friend Susan in OK. I won this in her 400th post contest and it arrived several days ago. I have been very bad at keeping up with anything. This is a wonderful book and rather than try to explain it to you I will give you the website and you can check it out in detail. The Shack Book
You owe it to your self to read this one! Love and huggles and until next time.

Oooo. I checked out the website...That book sounds awesome. I recently had to throw 2 "classic" books in the trash because they dishonored the Lord. It's nice that there are some good reads out there that can help us GROW.

:D

Lovely projects both! I wish I had a crafty husband too. Though may be not... The mere thought of him borrowing my floss and fabric. No. No way!!! Lol!!!
Katie's a cutie, as ever...
I just love every comment you leave on my blog, so full of friendship and good thoughts that cross the ocean and warm me up. I have to apologize for being unable to drop in AND leave a comment as surely as you do on mine.
Take care, dear Michelle,
Lili

I recently read The Shack, and I agree that it's a very worthwhile read. There's much to learn in it.

I will see if I can get a copy of the book. I have heard others also say that it is a good book. I hope your days are very happy and blest. Thanks so much for your prayers during our trial with the early birth of our new Great Granddaughter and hurricane IKE. They were so much appreciated. connie
