Hello from the snowy Ozarks!
I have been hard at work on my angel! The moon is nearly finished. After that, I have a bit of her dress and a little more ribbon to do. Then it will be time to steam out wrinkles and creases before I attach around 300 beads!
Katie WAS napping until she realized Jack was having a snack. That look says it all!
Not a happy girl with the biting cold 18 degrees and gale force winds. It's not so much being in the snow she minds rather getting pelted with it in the 30 mph or so wind.
Either I need to start getting to bed before Katie does or lock her in here with me!
Well this has turned out to be the Katie show! LOL! It often does, but she photographs so well and is so cute! God bless and keep you and huggles!

Busy week
Meet what I call the Warm fuzzies. The maker of the pattern calls them Poofs and they are a blast to make and easy. I need to make about 25 for the kids at church.
This was what we saw around noon Saturday from our front porch. It brought tears to my eyes because I know and love the kids there. They love to cuddle Katie and she loves them just as much. The youngest child is about 2 or 3. No one was hurt as far as we know. Even though their lifestyle is not one we like, no one deserves to go through this.
We took a drive on a fairly nice day earlier this week. We wanted to see if any migratory birds were at the Schell-Osage wildlife area. Took a picture of some dead trees in the water.
You might want to click on the picture to see it some better but there are birds on the water and coming in to land.
So that is all from me for now. God bless and keep you. huggles.

Lots to share!
I should be ashamed of sneaking up on a sleeping man, but why lie and say I am? LOL! How could I resist such a picture?
This was Miss Bug the other day when she was not feeling so good. Looking at me wanting me to make it all better I am sure.
Jack finished his runner. Came out very nice too. He has already started another.
I wanted to share this with you. It is an older piece of my own design featuring an old Irish hymn. I am going to finish it With fabric.
My progress on Rainbow Bridge. I have put it down for a bit but I am a little more than halfway done so not much longer for it.
I have been working on my angel. I did the metallic floss around her shoulders and on her halo and did the beads around her halo as well. Now on to the ribbons by her wings.
This is an afghan for Tina I am working on. I have about half of the squares done and sewn together. So if i keep at it it shouldn't take to much longer.
Well, thanks for visiting. I sure enjoyed it. God bless and see you soon.

A bug, A, hubby, & crafts
Our version of a bug in a rug! Katie was laying on her snuggle sack, so Jack wrapped her up like a burrito. Think she minds?
And here is my goofy guy stretched out trying to get his legs to ease down. I gave him a pretzel stick and much like a kid had to play with his food.
progress on Rainbow Bridge. I am working on bunnies now. The turtle with them gave me fits. It took me 3 tries to get his feet done for some reason. I just kept messing them up.
Tah dah! The "Imperfect" quilt is done, washed and on the bed. I predict toasty sleeping tonight!
So that is my little post. God bless and keep you. Huggles.

A little dog and a quilt
Katie says hello! Probably wonders if you saved any turkey from thanksgiving. Hope you had a wonderful one if you celebrate it.
Here is The Rainbow bridge. I finished the little dog burying his bones and grumpy frog as I call the little hopper. Now off to do more of the verse on it.
This is Katie helping me with a project. Yeah right! More like sleeping while I am a busy little beaver.
And this is one good way to hurt your back and make your tush go nighty night. I am tieing off my "imperfect" quilt, then I will trim it and put binding on the edges. I call it imperfect because when I made it in the early 1980's, I was not a very careful seamstress. Therefore, the corners don't match all the time. I tucked it away for a long time because of that but you know it doesn't matter how well you do a thing. If it gives you joy to do it, don't worry that it isn't perfect or as good as someone else's. So it will replace our worn out bedspread.
Oh and just a little tidbit. The fabric for the top cost less than fifty cents. When we lived in Wichita, Jack would take me to Hancock Fabrics and they always had huge bags of scrap fabrics. I bought two bags and had enough for a couple skirts, and some curtains. The rest I used for the top. i made a template of cardboard and with fabric pen in hand I set about cutting out my sqaures with my sissors. Took some time but it wasn't work at all as I really enjoyed it. I love to create and feel the fabric in my hands.
So that is it for this post. God bless and huggles.
