Here is Sylvia last night playing with Mr. Fishy on a Stick. Pretty acrobatic!
And stretching in the sun this morning!
I am well into the 3rd page of this piece. It just goes really fast now that I have made 3 or 4 of them.
Small progress on my Gathering Eggs piece. I was feeling a bit headachy Saturday when I was working on it so I didn't get to far.I thought you would like to see this. In the late 1980's I met Miss Emma who had once owned a yarn shop in Louisiana before she moved to Wichita Kansas. She gave me a huge bag full of crochet threads and numerous books. This one is from the 1930's and I treasure it. 10 cents doesn't sound like much today for a booklet! I still think of hjer fondly and she was still crocheting well into her 90's.
Thanks for visiting. huggles and blessings.

Beautiful Work
I love the booklet and all the designs. I have almost caught up with you on His Name is Jesus. It is a fun and fast stitch. I will definitely be doing it again soon.
I wish I could crochet...I would love to have a framed collection like on the book cover over my bed.
The crochet is so neat! How fun is that! Love the stitching progress you've made. And of course Miss Sylvia, cute as a button! I wonder if she and Mia are related? lol!
What a wonderful and inexpensive idea to crochet doilies and frame them in garage sale or flea market frames! I think they would be perfect for any room of the house and would also make lovely individual gifts. With your husbands and your talents with needlework I think the idea would be perfect for the two of you to work on together, it would be something you would both treasure forever. And of course we'd love to see any after pictures if you ever choose to do so! I love seeing the posts about little Miss Sylvia, she looks so very much loved and happy.
