Stitching, sewing and plenty of fun.

I spent a full day tea dying this piece of fabric for my next project.  The lightest area actually is darker in person and looks nice.

This is what I will be doing on the fabric.  I have been looking for a piece of fabric in my things big enough for it and finally did.

Been playing around with a beaded dragonfly idea to.  Not quite what I want but close.

Now that Jack has the baby quilt done, He is working on a couple bibs for the lady below us who is expecting a little girl soon.  She has two boys so she is excited!

Finished up my latest jumper.  Boy, I will look like a granny apple!  LOL!  I love it though.

Progress on "Plum & Gold" the last couple days.

Nearly done with the first half of "Sunburst" so that is good!

Now for a couple silly pictures of our girl!  She never ceases to amuse us!

Huggles and blessings and thanks for the visit.

Nice job on tea dying the fabric! As soon as I saw it, I thought to myself, "oooooooh". Seriously! Can't wait to see your stitching progress on it.

Tea dying is so nice. I've done a bit of it and it gives the nicest background. The alphabet sampler is going to look very pretty when completed and bird person that I am, I very much appreciate the sentiment conveyed.

I think you did a good job on the new fabric, I haven't got up the nerve to try dying any myself. You have also chosen the perfect chart to stitch on it.The other stitching is beautiful as usual. Tell Jack congratulations on his finish and the fish is coming along nicely or should I say swimmingly:-)

Hello

Your fabric is great and the sampler design is beautiful.
Love your new jumper!
All your projects are so nice!

Lovely Sylvia pics - my kitties like to play with my wool as well.

Love how your fabric came out. The new project is really pretty! Nice dragonfly, and cute bib your DH is working on. The stained glass pieces are wonderful too. And of course, Sylvia is adorable as always!

I may try to tea dye some white wool after seeing your sample...I need it for a flesh color. I think the sampler will look great with the tea dye color. Your jumper is cute...the granny apple look will be a big hit I'm sure :)
