Big post for me!

I was given a lovely compliment on my stitches looking so lovely and also asked if I ever had to tear out and redo stitches.  I must say heartily that yes, i do make mistakes and have to rip out.  Sometimes I make such a huge mistake I have to tear out nearly half of what I have done!

I have decided to work on these Precious Moments girls for my next project.  I have the fabric I will use with them.  One change is with the Autumn one as I will kool-aid dye it with yellows and oranges to go a bit better.

Here is my first finish for the year!  I finished it up tonight.  It was a pleasant stitch!

We had a beautiful sunset this evening.

Silly Sylvia after we had played for a bit.
Thanks for the visit.  Blessings and huggles!

I forgot to say that I love the piece you just finished. I have a seasons piece kind of like this but with chairs instead of flowers. Maybe I'll work on it soon. Thanks for the inspiration. Have a great day.

Your finish is gorgeous and the Precious Moment charts are so cute. I can hardly wait to see some progress on them. Will you stitch one at a time or try a rotation with them all?

Thanks for inspiring me to get stitching again! I can already tell how much more calm I am when I'm working on a project. And yes, tearing out and re-doing stitches is just part of the process.

When I got married (25-1/2 years ago), I made each of the bridesmaids a cross-stitch Precious Moments bridesmaid from their Special Occasions book, or one of those. I wish I would've made the bride and groom ~ but I guess there's still time, right? :)

Congrats on your lovely finish!! I love those P.M. pieces! My mom collects Precious Moments (The figurines!) and I have a few stitching books of Prec. Moments that I need to work on! I can't wait to see your progress!

I appreciate your honesty on having to redo pieces once in awhile :)It gives me hope with my fumbled attempts at stitching. Your sky photo's are lovely silhouettes. So very pretty. It has been awhile since I have seen precious moments...I always found them to be sweet. It looks like a pleasant project for you. Give Sylvia a scratch behind the ears for me. :)
