Busy little beaver here!

I will soon be needing another purse and decided to crochet one.  A dear friend gave me a huge thing of sugar and cream and that is what I am using.  it will stretch much less than regular yarn.  I found the pattern on Ravelry and it is pretty easy.  I don't have a picture, but I have also finished two rows on jack's afghan and started another row.

I have been pretty busy on my Cardinals project as well.

This is a close up of where I am working right now.  Jack loves the soft colors but wait until I do the cardinals themselves.  that is sure to give it a nice pop!

I think the sun is bothering Sylvia.  I love when she covers her eyes!

Thanks for visiting!  Blessings and huggles.

Crochet time and a little fun!

I have been working on an afghan this week.  It's one I started for Jack and since I had a wicked sinus headache all week, crocheting was more appealing.  Well, at least when I wasn't zoned out!  LOL!

We took a drive when we started feeling a bit better and met these two near a lake.

When the weather turns cold, Sylvia says hop in on the flannel sheets before anyone can make the bed!

Just chillin' out!

 What more can I say?

Last nights sunset.

Thanks for visiting and sharing a smile and some fun.  Blessings.

New start!

I finally bought new fabric for my Cardinal project, got the conversion chart from Bucilla and pulled dmc colors.  The fabric in the kit was cut a bit small for my liking and I wanted dmc colors!  LOL! Right now I am doing half cross stitches for the background.  So far so good!

Here is the Sylvia girl getting a little scratching from Jack.

And giving me the go away look!  LOL!

Stitching in a new week!

I have been enjoying an afternoon of working on my tabletop doily.  I have 42 of 71 rows left to go.  It will be about 44 inches in size.

Also have been working on my precious Moments piece yesterday quite a bit.  Right now I am working on the white.

Here is a picture I took of Sylvia this afternoon.  I love that curled up back foot!

Stitching up a storm!

This is a little heart snowflake I did using some thread I dyed blue.  I like the way it came out.  You can find the pattern here.  Snowflake

I have been working really hard on my Winter Song piece and have managed to pretty much finish the coat or dress or whatever that is.

We have been blessed with some nice warm weather lately and have been able to have the window open.  Sylvia loves it!

But it must also be tempered with naps!

Am I blue?

Yes, I am still very blue!  LOL!  I confess I have not stitched much on this as I have been finishing up a snowflake order!  done now with that and I hope to really get on this piece!

Ah, Sylvia Joy!!!!  Enjoying the cool shade of her "Mug Hut" as we call it after sunning and getting to warm.  I think the girl makes napping an art!

Blessings and huggles and thanks for the visit.

A good stitchy day!

This is what has been keeping me from my cross stitch.  Lots of angels and snowflakes.  I am still working on snowflakes but am hoping to be done soon.

More blue on my precious moments piece!  Not very exciting I know!  LOL!

My old colander bit the dust and I found this wonderful red one to replace it.  I go for the red whenever I can!

I also made a loaf of blueberry bread yesterday.  It tastes good but I think it is a bit dry.

I also managed to drop a little flour on the floor and there at the bottom of the mess is where that silly Sylvia was licking it!

Speaking of Sylvia, here she is napping on my afghan.  Nothing better than that she believes!

Thanks for visiting.  huggles and blessings.

More Sylvia than stitching!

I am afraid I haven't done a lot of stitching at all.  i am working on a lot of angels and snowflakes for people but when I am stitching it is yet more blue!  LOL!

So let's have some fun with Sylvia!  To me this picture looks like she is wondering what to do!

Of course we have to roll around on the floor and be adorable!

Jack started scratching her head and neck and the next three pictures show what she did in reaction to it.

Thanks for coming by to visit!  blessings and huggles until next time!
