A Little Bit of Crochet

I have managed a little bit of crochet. I am nearly finished with 24 snowflakes for an order.

And Jack bought me a little yarn for my birthday coming up Friday of this week. I am making a shawl out of it. I have given away all but one of my shawls so I need a light weight one now.
We had a very lovely sunset last night. I love the sun shining on the clouds.

I also sanded and finished our three dollar thrift store magazine rack find. We have been wanting a magazine rack and love this one. It is well made and heavy. The picture is not the best.
And a certain feline has been very lazy and very silly this week!

Thanks for visiting. Huggles and blessings.

Your snowflakes are beautiful...you make turning out things look so easy! I start out good but dwindle away somewhere along the line. My Mom was like you...Every time I would stop by her place, I'd enjoy seeing what she was working on and what she had already finished. That is a nice magazine rack, I've never seen one like that.

Happy Birthday coming up! Hope its a fun day and just what you'd like it to be. =) Loved your post, have a nice day.

I keep plugging away with crochet, but get discouraged as no matter what, even crochet squares don't lay flat. You're an inspiration though so after putting them down for a few days (or longer depending on how frustrated I get) I pick them up and try again. Were you able to find out if the manufacturer of your arthritis medicine offers help to those who are finding it difficult to pay for it? So many good people are going through this.
