Well, at last here I am! Feeling much better mostly, but feel like I have a sinus infection. But enough about that! A lot has happened since last we met. We had our first snowfall!
Got some lovely presents from dear friends in Pennsylvania. We exchange gifts every year.
On Christmas day, my beloved Jack and I were Chrismated into the Orthodox church! Chrismated basically means we read aloud to the church the Creed and Father John anointed us with holy water and oil. The couple standing next to us are our "sponsors". They will be lifelong friends to pray with us and walk with us on this journey called life! Afterwards most of us at church stayed to have Christmas potluck together and enjoy one anothers company. We always have fellowship after church on Sunday's.
We had ice on the streets and the pond this last Sunday. It was sure pretty on the pond!
A cardinal showed up to say hello!
Did you get to see the super moon the first? It sure was lovely and happened on the only clear night we have had in awhile.
Now here is Sylvia being Sylvia!
Thanks for visiting. Huggles and blessings!

Back at last!
We are both finally over that awful virus. Jack still has a bit of a cough now and again. Going to church tomorrow for the first time in a couple weeks. Today Jack felt well enough and the weather was nice enough he walked downstairs to check the mail. He came back with bloody, scratched and cut hands, bruised ribs on one side and even his nose was skinned. Yep, he fell. *sigh* I think I shall wrap him in bubble wrap.
That sweet husband of mine really surprised me good this year with presents. Nope, we do not wait until Christmas day to open presents. First a Kindle showed up for me.
Then a few days later this showed up. It is a four inch pin loom.
I have been playing with it as you can see.
We have done without a lot and struggled quite a bit since losing our home in 2011 and Jack felt I deserved special treats this year. So sweet of him. He has been rewarded with jammies and a couple models he wanted for some time.
The trees are still lovely in some places although most have lost there leaves.
Our dear little 84 year old neighbor downstairs brought this lovely poinsettia to us a couple days ago. So sweet is little Miss Trudy!
I have been crocheting also. I have now finished this hat.
Working now on angels. Sorry no picture and squares for an afghan for a friend.
Our squirrels visit daily sometimes several times a day.
Sylvia is still Sylvia!
Enjoying her Christmas giftie today!
Here is Jack when he felt so bad.
So now you are all caught up with us. Thanks for visiting. I need to catch up on my blog reading! Huggles and blessings.

Be back soon as I can!
Friends, I have been sick with a virus for a week. I am getting better but they say the cough can hang on for two weeks. Now my beloved Jack is coming down with it so I am trying to do most of the work to let him heal and rest. I will be back with a post as soon as I can!

Here I Am
Hello my friends. Not a lot to show you as I am just trying to catch up and finish the five dozen snowmen to go out before Christmas! I have two dozen completely done and well onto finishing another dozen this week. Here is one of the batches.
Now onto some fun! We put out shelled peanuts for the squirrels and shelled for the birds. It is entertaining when you can not get out a lot. Here my begonia is growing a tail
Enjoying that peanut!
Sylvia is in lazy mode since it is turning cooler. Cooler weather also means I get lots of cuddles. She will not sit on a lap, but she sometimes puts her chest on my leg.
Thanks for visiting. Jack is feeling a bit stronger today. We stayed home from church as he was having a tough day yesterday. His blood pressure this afternoon was so much better, 117/77. Off to see the doctor tomorrow. Oh and yes, Regina my friend, we do very much love the church we are now attending. Thanks for asking. Huggles and blessings.

I Will Be Back!
I know I am terribly overdue with a post. I had meant to post last Sunday. However things did not work out that way. Jack and I are attending a new church the last couple Sundays. We have a fellowship time after service. Jack had two TIA's there. I took him to urgent care and he had a small one there also. They told us to head to the ER and I did. They kept him overnight and did lots of tests and such. His blood pressure was sky high and that was the cause. They said that had he ignored the symptoms that most likely a big stroke would have happened within 72 hours.
Jack's symptoms were pins and needles on the left of his face the first time. The second time his legs grew weak and he could not speak. The third was pins and needles again and weak legs. He is home now but still some weak and tired.
I will be back with a regular post this weekend. Huggles and blessings.
