A little about me. I have been married nearly 27 years to a wonderful man. We never had any children but do have a niece we think of as a daughter. And we are owned by a very rotten min pin named Katie. That's a miniature pinscher thank you for asking! My hubby and I both love cross stitching very much. It's funny because I started this blog JUST to show our cross stitch but it has become so much more! And I have met some wonderful people here. i am pleased to meet you too! now come on, pull up a chair and let's get to know each other!

It's nice to meet you! I used to do a lot of cross stitch -- unfortunately (in one sense) most of it was given as gifts, so I don't have much on hand. Haven't done it in ages -- wonder if I could still see to do it?
That picture with Katie in the blankets is too precious. I love it. My dog loves to take over blankets and pillows as well.

I haven't cross-stitched in ages! My dad stitched a very beautiful Hummel figurine...I was so jealous because the back of his work was perfect and my backs were always a huge mess! lol!! I think it's wonderful that you and your husband enjoy this hobby...neat!

I have one cross stich that I have been working on since 1993 and I still pick it up when I'm not doing anything else. As you can tell, that is INFREQUENT! Still, I like it. Its neat that your hubby's into it too!
Also . . .I know my aunt, who never had children of her own has been a mentor and mother figure in my life. Most of my world view comes from here . . so I applaude your interest in your niece. It affected my life, BIG TIME.
