Word-filled Wednesday
This is a little different than what we usually do. It isn't a photograph at all but rather a little card they used to give to you in Sunday School. I am not sure if it was my mother's or my grandmothers but it is dated June 7, 1942. I thought it was pretty cool! The scripture is partially missing so here it is for you.
He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.~Isaiah 53:5
Please join us for Word-filled Wednesday by visiting Amy-Deanne and signing up on Mr. Linky. You may make one of your own or use someone elses.

I love the card it is very precious to you I know.:)This scripture speaks volumes to us on His LOVE for us. It is such an honor to be called one of his children!
I hope that I am doing this the correct way...if not please let me know.
Have a day filled with love and laughter.

now that is amazing!! What a neat post for WFW! :)
That is so cool! I love old things like that. My MIL has a lot of scrapbooks full of cards, postcards and such.
I wish they gave things like that out today. What a great treasure to have!
Hugs!
My Mama was born in 1943.
I've always liked that scripture.
:)
Very nice blog! I think I'll visit again.
Thanks for your prayers and for visiting my blog. You will be in mine, too.
A lovely card and rememberance of all that has been done for us by HIM. Thanks for sharing it with us!
