Happy chilly Friday!

Of course we must have a picture of Katie! The queen on her sofa with a toy in her mouth surveying her kingdom!

You never know what you will find under wallpaper border! LOL! I guess covering it up was easier than fixing it!
And here is Jack's method for removing it! Grab it at the corner and go for it! You may get two walls at once for your effort! LOL!
For those who would like to know, we are trying to figure out a way to purchase our little house. We are going to try going through a program with the Department of Agriculture. Also, our landlord's talked to us about doing rent to own. So keep us in your prayers everyone!
Okay, okay, here is some stitchy stuff. Just mine as Jack is nearly done with his baby quilt and I will show that later. This is the only one I have worked on this week!
And now for a bit more fun! I took this little fun quiz over at Mrs. Amy's

Thanks for being my first commenter this time! That looks like quite a job with the wallpaper - I haven't done that for years and dread doing it again. The end result is great, but the process is painful!!

We're in the deep freeze here in Colorado - 9 degrees this morning when we got up.

Have a wonderful week-end!

Hi Michelle,
I love the look of wallpaper, but it can be a real job to take down! I'll certainly be saying a prayer that you're able to purchase your home my friend.

Saying a prayer that God's Will be done in purchasing the house.

We have an old house and when we bought it, the kitchen had the ugliest wallpaper! I lived with it for a few years and finally told hubby I just couldn't stand it anymore! It was stuck on pretty good, so I asked a painter if I could paint over the wallpaper and he said, yes as long as you use a good primer on it first. It turned out fine. Now I enjoy being in my kitchen. ;-)

I always enjoy looking at your stitching progress!
