A praying mantis & small pillows & a recipe

Now how is that for a combination? This is my baby praying mantis that hangs around out front on all the vegetation. I have to be careful removing dead flowers from my marigolds. I don't want to hurt him. I don't mind praying mantis when they are babies, but the adults creep me out!!! Yuck!

I finished two more small pillows. The welcome friends one was cross stitched by Jack and I did the other. You can't see it real well but it says Jesus, a root out of Jesse. A scripture from the Bible. Here is an easy recipe for you as well.

Broccoli Casserole

10 ounce frozen broccoli, thawed

2 10 3/4 ounce cream of mushroom soup

6 ounce pkg. herb flavored stuffing mix

1/2 cup butter, melted

Place broccoli and soup in a buttered 1 & 1/2 quart casserole dish, mix well. Toss stuffing with butter in a mixing bowl; add to casserole dish. Stir gently to mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Your baby Praying Mantis is cute. You have to have really good eyes to make it out, they blend in so well. Love the pillows, You do lovely work! That brocolli casserole looks great, and I will definitely give that a try, you are so sweet to share it! :)

I love to find a preying mantis. They are such cool looking insects although a little scary looking too. Once we found a walking stick on the side of our garage. That was cool too.
