Big catch up post!

Well now I had meant to post the first Sunday of the month after church. However, Sunday morning I came down with a very nasty stomach virus and Jack got it later that week. We are just now feeling a lot better and hope to be back in church Sunday.
Now onto the good stuff! We decided we needed an outing last Sunday afternoon and went to War Eagle Mill. It was a nice cool day and perfect for it.

We are down in a lovely valley at the mill! We will be up on the mountain to the right going out.

Goodies arrived this month as well. Two pioneer woman picnic baskets that were half off at Wal Mart. It will help taking goodies to church. A new teapot to replace my old rusted one also arrived.

Sylvia was ever at my side while I was so awful sick.

Meet Skippy as we have named him. He comes most days singing for a peanut and is not at all fearful. I can get an arms length from him to give him his peanut. He is this year's baby.

This is girly squirrel enjoying her peanut she got from Jack this afternoon. She is enjoying it on our neighbors porch!

Cross Stitch and Sylvia Joy

Well, I did not feel like crocheting on my me weekend so I worked on my Name of Jesus piece instead.

And Saturday Jack ran to the store to get a couple things. He also came with a surprise of sunflowers for me!

And for those who missed Sylvia, here she is resting after a hard morning playing!

It's a mostly white crochet thing!

Well I went missing again! I was sick the whole of July and Jack is just getting over a cold. But enough of that and onto the fun stuff!
The cross doily is coming along well.

I also have a big pile of hearts. Just a few more of them to do!

My Jack hung up a shelf for the Raggedy family last month.

These are the brackets he used. We got them at Hobby Lobby.

We ran out of peanuts last week and one of the squirrels was not happy about it! she was all over the window, jumping on the front door and making a pest of herself!

And lastly, me making a fashion statement! Not really but I have to wear it when I go out to protect me from smells that cause the sinus infections.

I was missing again but now back!

Missing in action again! Sick with yet another sinus infection! I have had one every month save June since November! I will be getting an anti-pollution mask to wear when I am out so hoping that helps. Smoke, some smells and pollen really get me!
But let us get on to the fun stuff! Since Sylvia has been in hot days hibernation I have not gotten many pictures of her so we will start with my girl first! Here she is helping mom on the computer.

She often loves a taste of coconut milk after I have my morning cereal. She then gets milk chin!

Our little squirrel friend came for a visit!

We have been blessed with more rain than usual this summer but it is so hot!

Now on to the crafty stuff! Finished up two dozen crosses for an order. Need to stiffen them!

And working on a cross tablecover for another order.

Sometimes I even take time to work on my top! It is coming along slowly but now I am working on the bodice and will soon be down to the underarm area.

Time to share some things!

I am sure you wonder where I have been. Well, I was working like a madwoman to fonosh the angels and I did it! They are heading our Friday.

So now I am working on crosses.

And finished a scarf/shoulder wrap to send out.

Also have been ironing some doilies that really needed it.

Managed also to make some fridge pickles with tomatoes.

So come take a little walk with me around the complex on my way to get the mail. Then we will finish up our visit.

Found some bargains at Hobby Lobby! I bought five spools of the crochet thread for the cost of one!

Jack got some brackets for a shelf to set my Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls on too.
