Swearing Kitties & Plenty of Stitching

I just really did think this picture looked like Sylvia Joy was taking an oath so I had to have some fun with it!

Now that we have laughed at the cat, here is an update on my beloved Jack’s baby quilt.  Lots and lots of outlining left for him!

And here is my Guardian Angel and I am still working on the wings but getting close!

A little more progress on Gathering Eggs as well.

And LOTS of progress on Names Of Jesus.

Now I would like you to meet little E. J.  When our Katie-Bug passed away in February 2010, a friend later that year bought and gave this little stinker to us.  He was so full of himself and never made a two or four legged friend.  But one mistake by my hubby and I in October 2010 allowed him to escape and be killed by the neighbors dog at the tender age of 6 months.  It like to tore our hearts out.

Now I tell you this to share this piece from Sue Hillis designs.  I actually finished it just before Katie passed away but needing a break I put it aside and later added the names of our dear pets.  It was not until today that I felt strong enough to add E. J.’s name to it because it is still a hard thing to deal with.  When it is Sylvia Joy’s time, her name will be next to his.  It is well over three feet long but wasn’t bad at all to stitch.

Hi there. I love the rainbow bridge. I want to get that chart. Could you tell me who sells it. Or could I buy it from you. Two of our dogs passed last April and I want to stitch it for them

I visit your blog often but rarely comment, but just had to say what a wonderful piece of artwork this project turned out to be, I remember your progress on this one, and love how it turned out. Blessings to you as you continue to share your wonderful stitching skills while allowing us to also share in the antics of Sylvia. Blessings to you and Jack your blog always puts a smile on my face.

You're almost done your angel!!!! She's gorgeous :o)

I love this piece by SH but have never bought it. I really need to do it because I have some precious family members I would like to remember. What a great finish.

EJs sweet face is a joy to see. Miss Sylvia may have liked mothering him.

Praying Jack's legs are getting some relief.
